Aakanksha: Desire for wellness is an initiative taken by Nutritionist Ms. Bhavani Swaminathan to create awareness amongst all age groups about taking care of one’s own body by following a diet plan and including exercise in their daily lives.

We, at AAKANKSHA : Desire For Wellness, aspire to help individuals to eat intelligently & lead a healthy life style. A healthy life style creates a sound mind & a happy life.

We help you make the right food choice and consume it at right times vide diet charts prepared by our nutritionist. All our diet plans are prepared, monitored frequently & modified as per the requirements of your body constitution (called Prakriti) and your daily schedule. Refer to the 5 step procedure to understand how you, and AAKANKSHA : Desire For Wellness can together, help you take care of your most priceless possession-YOUR BODY. A Tamilian born and brought up in Maharashtra, she has a very simple take on food- “home cooked meal is a Labour of love”. Her prime aim is to spread the word on the magic one’s own kitchen can create. She believes mindful eating can help you lead a healthy & happy life. She inspires innovation in homemade vegetarian food, to cater to the taste and health needs of individuals. Dedicated and passionate for her cause, she aspires to aid people struggling with health issues to achieve a good level of mental & physical well being. After all, the fitness of mind and body is a perpetual journey, not a destination!
